In November 2018, the Oxford-Suzhou Centre for Advanced Research (OSCAR) opened in Suzhou Industrial Park in eastern China, one hour from Shanghai. OSCAR is the University of Oxford's first overseas centre for physical science and engineering research.

An invitation to share Mohamed’s reflections on “The Future of Humanity” with the Gayatri Pariwar global community
On 5th May 2020, Mohamed Amersi shared a meaningful speech with the Gayatri Pariwar community, a Hindu faith-based community with a following of over 100 million people globally. Mohamed’s speech, titled “The Future of Humanity” was live streamed, after a personal invitation from Dr. Chinmay Pandya.
The Amersi Foundation is co-funding the development of a prototype “Aerosol Box” PPE screen. The prototype is an adaptation from that of Dr. Hsien Yung Lai in Taiwan, who posted his design online in March.
