Mohamed Amersi is a renowned global communications entrepreneur, philanthropist and thought leader.

After studying medicine and law at the Universities of Sheffield and Cambridge, then completing an Executive MBA at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, Mohamed Amersi began his professional career as a corporate lawyer before going into business.

Throughout his career, driven by a desire to create a world that’s better for everybody, Mohamed Amersi has used his position to contribute positively to society, supporting many charitable initiatives and social ventures.

The Amersi Foundation, established in 2012, supports a vast range of global issues, including The Three E’s, We Are One, Our Futures, and many more.

In 2018, the Amersi Foundation through Mohamed Amersi was honoured to receive the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award in recognition of its philanthropic work, joining an illustrious list of recipients that includes Melinda Gates, Jimmy Wales and Sir Tim Berners-Lee.

It’s time to humanise capital

Mohamed Amersi was invited to contribute a chapter to the Dubai Expo2020 book. The World Expo is an international exhibition, launched in 1851 in Crystal Palace Hyde PArk. Since 2000, the Expo is hosted every 5 years in a different location and lasts 6 months.
